Bees and wasps are common in Arizona, especially during the warmer spring and summer months when flowering plants attract them for food and nesting opportunities. To prevent infestations, homeowners should keep food and trash sealed, repair screen holes, seal exterior cracks, and regularly inspect for early signs of nesting. Pest control professionals can safely locate and remove active hives or nests, apply preventative treatments around nesting hotspots, and advise on landscaping or structural modifications to discourage future activity—especially important in cases involving aggressive species or those nesting close to high-traffic areas.
